Warranty

A draft of what we intend to stand behind. No warranty is in force today because nothing has been sold.

Current status

Kanso Travel has not launched and has sold nothing, so there are no warranty claims to make and no products in service. This page exists so you can read our intent before deciding whether to register interest.

Intended cover: two years, limited

Two years from the date of purchase, covering defects in materials and workmanship on the original owner's bag. That is deliberately a specific, modest promise rather than a "lifetime guarantee" we have no track record to support.

What would be covered

  • Zippers that fail without external damage
  • Seams and bar-tacks that separate under normal use
  • Buckles, sliders and hardware that break in normal operation
  • Fabric delamination or coating failure not caused by abrasion or chemicals
  • Strap or handle attachment points that fail under normal loads

What would not be covered

  • Normal wear: scuffs, fading, pilling, surface abrasion
  • Damage from overloading beyond the bag's intended use
  • Airline, courier or transit damage — claim with the carrier
  • Loss, theft, or damage from accident, fire or misuse
  • Alterations or third-party repairs
  • Bags bought second-hand or from an unauthorised reseller
  • Uses we tell you not to buy the bag for, such as technical climbing or trekking

Intended process

  1. Contact us with a description and photographs of the fault.
  2. We confirm whether it falls under the warranty, in writing.
  3. Where covered, we repair the bag, replace the part, or replace the bag.
  4. Where not covered, we would still quote a paid repair where a repair is possible.

Nothing on this page limits statutory consumer rights, which apply regardless of what a warranty says.
